Pred davnimi, davnimi leti je bil Bog ženska. Ljudje so častili zemljo, ki je vsako pomlad rojevala novo življenje. Stvarnica je bila ženska, dokler je niso prepričali, da jo mora biti strah. Strah pred vsem. Prepričali so jo, da je grešna sama po sebi. Grešna zato, ker je ženska.

 Ampak kljub temu so bile nekatere dovolj pogumne, da so poslušale volkuljo v sebi, poiskale in živele svojo prvinsko, divjo naravo ter postale neustrašne in resnične ustvarjalke svojega življenja. Take ženske so pustile stopnje za vse, ki prihajajo za njimi.

Roman Sibilina sodba vas bo popeljal v temačni čas 17. stoletja, ko so ljudje živeli pod senco epidemij, vojn in strahu pred čarovnicami. Glavna junakinja Sibila je močan ženski lik, ki se hrabro spopada z izzivi patriarhalnega obdobja.

Gre za roman s sodobno ali pa, recimo, vedno aktualno tematiko o položaju ženske, vere ali nevere v Boga, predsodkov, soočenj z usodo zaznamovanih otrok, humanizma, spolnosti in nasilja… Avtoričino znanje zgodovine, njena moralna in etična drža, vera v razum in predvsem bojevitost za »samosvojo« pot pa nas včasih pripeljejo do misli, da sta Greta in Sibila, a tudi Uršula v tem romanu še v tesnejšem »sorodstvu« z avtorico Urško, predsednico Državnega zbora, kakršno doživljamo sredi političnega prerivanja, kjer je večkrat politični sodrugi ali mediji privežejo na sramotilni »pranger, ker je drugačna in samosvoja. Njene junakinje tavajo, bežijo, se skrivajo, spopadajo, ljubijo in so včasih bliže hvaležnemu volku ali zvesti kobili kot ljudem; kajti lepe, pametne, ženske, ki povrh nekaj znajo, so zmerom »nevarne«, zato jih hitro obsodijo kot čarovnice ali kaj podobnega. Toda vztrajajo, da je zanje svoboda to, da so lahko to, kar so… To ni kaka »feministična« proza, to je roman o sleherniku in svobodi, za katero se je potrebno zmeraj znova postaviti.
